Product & positioning
What problem does NewsletterFIT solve?
Most sponsorship buyers work from a short list of familiar newsletters. NewsletterFIT maps thousands of relevant publications, surfaces momentum and sponsor activity, and helps you build research-backed shortlists — so you evaluate the market, not just the names you already know.
How is this different from newsletter directories or marketplaces?
Directories optimize for discovery listings. Marketplaces optimize for transactions. NewsletterFIT is an intelligence layer: search, compare, monitor, and export evidence for internal media planning. We are not a broker and do not take placement fees.
Data & methodology
Where does the data come from?
We ingest publicly available newsletter content and metadata — publication pages, RSS or archive feeds, and platform signals (starting with Substack, expanding to additional platforms). Automated pipelines normalize articles, extract topics and sponsor mentions, and compute corpus-level signals such as momentum. Processing runs on our VPS and MongoDB infrastructure with scheduled refresh jobs.
How fresh is the data?
Freshness varies by publication and pipeline stage. Active publications in our corpus are refreshed on a rolling schedule; enrichment (topics, sponsors, momentum) may lag ingestion by hours to days depending on queue load. We display timestamps where available so you can judge recency before making decisions.
Do you have private publisher metrics (open rates, CTR, pricing)?
Not by default. We do not claim access to private publisher dashboards unless a metric is explicitly sourced and labeled (e.g., a public subscriber count on a profile page). Sponsorship rates, audience demographics, and performance stats should be confirmed directly with publishers during outreach.
How does sponsorship intelligence work?
Our enrichment models scan article text for sponsor mentions, classify ideal sponsor categories from recurring themes, and aggregate which brands appear across recent issues. This helps you assess category fit, competitive saturation, and whether a publication already runs sponsors in your space — it does not replace direct conversations with publishers about inventory and pricing.
Security, privacy & compliance
What security measures do you use?
We host on dedicated VPS infrastructure with HTTPS everywhere, access controls, and least-privilege credentials. Application data lives in MongoDB with regular backups. Waitlist and account data are handled per our Privacy Policy. As we add team auth and enterprise features, we will support role-based access and audit logging appropriate for B2B buyers.
What happens to my waitlist email?
We store your work email to notify you about early access and product updates. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time. We do not sell email addresses. Full details: Privacy Policy.
Pricing & early access
How does pricing work?
We are in early access. Waitlist members are invited before general availability. Paid tiers will be published before launch with clear limits on seats, search volume, and export features. Pilot customers may receive custom terms via order form.
How do I request access for my team?
Join the waitlist on the homepage with your work email. When we open the next cohort, we prioritize brands and agencies actively buying newsletter sponsorships. For multi-seat or agency rollouts, email support@newsletterfit.com with your use case.
Integrations & roadmap
Will you integrate with our CRM or media workflow?
Today: web app plus API endpoints for internal research workflows. Roadmap items include CSV/CRM exports, Slack or email alerts, saved watchlists synced to accounts, and team workspaces. Tell us what your stack looks like — we prioritize integrations that reduce spreadsheet handoffs for media buyers.
Can we request specific newsletters or categories?
Yes. If a publication is public but missing from our corpus, email us the URL or slug and we will prioritize ingestion. Category coverage expands as our discovery pipeline runs — niche B2B verticals are a focus for early access partners.
