Sponsored posts by month

Posts with an explicitly marked sponsorship, and the distinct brands and newsletters behind them.

Read across months with care. These are counts of what NewsletterFIT has indexed, and the index grew sharply during 2026. A rise from one month to the next mostly reflects wider coverage, not growth in the sponsorship market.

How these numbers are made

A placement counts only when a post carries an explicit sponsorship marker ("sponsored by", "presented by", "together with" and similar) and the sponsor name is confirmed. Unmarked mentions, affiliate links and a newsletter promoting itself are not counted, so these figures are a floor, not an estimate of the whole market. Subscriber figures are what Substack and beehiiv show publicly. Posts are counted from 71,164 tracked newsletters; 49,843 of them posted in the last 90 days.
